Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

blendX is committed to making its website and platform accessible to everyone, regardless of disability, device or technology used. We believe innovation must be inclusive: that is why we treat accessibility as a product feature, not an add-on.

This statement applies to the website blendx.io and to the blendX platform accessible via the web. It has been drawn up in accordance with EU Directive 2016/2102, the European Accessibility Act (EU Directive 2019/882) transposed in Italy by D.Lgs. 82/2022, and takes as its reference AgID's Guidelines on the accessibility of ICT tools (Linee guida sull'accessibilità degli strumenti informatici).

2. Compliance status

The site is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

3. Accessible features

The site and platform include:

• Full keyboard navigation: every feature can be reached without a mouse, with visible focus on every interactive element.
• "Skip to content" link: present at the start of every page to bypass the navigation menu (visible when pressing Tab).
• Semantic structure: correct use of headings (H1-H6), ARIA landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a consistent hierarchy.
• Explicit form labels: every field has an associated label, with linked error messages and autocomplete attributes for browsers and assistive technologies.
• Screen reader compatibility: tested with VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA (Windows) and TalkBack (Android).
• Respect for user preferences: the CSS prefers-reduced-motion directive automatically disables animations and transitions for those who need it.
• Current page indicator: aria-current="page" attribute on active navigation links.
• Color contrast: text and interactive elements meet the minimum 4.5:1 ratio (normal text) and 3:1 (large text) required by level AA.
• Text resizing: content remains readable and functional up to 200% zoom with no loss of content or functionality.
• Declared language: every page declares its primary language (Italian) via the lang attribute.

4. Known limitations

We are working to resolve the following open items:

5. Supported technologies

The site's accessibility relies on the following standard technologies:

• Semantic HTML5
• WAI-ARIA 1.2
• CSS3 (with fallback for prefers-reduced-motion)
• JavaScript (with progressive enhancement: core content remains usable even with JS disabled)

The site is compatible with recent versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and with the most widely used assistive technologies.

6. How we assessed

Compliance status was assessed through:

• Self-assessment carried out by the blendX product team against the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria.
• Automated testing with industry-standard tools (axe DevTools, Lighthouse Accessibility).
• Manual testing with keyboard navigation and screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA).
• Periodic review: this statement is updated at least once a year or with every significant release.

An independent third-party audit is planned by Q4 2026.

7. Report a barrier

If you encounter an obstacle in accessing content or features of the site or the platform, let us know. We commit to:

• responding within 5 working days;
• providing an accessible alternative within 7 working days, where possible;
• scheduling a structural fix for the issue in the next development cycle.

8. Protection and appeal

If you do not receive a reply within 30 days, or you consider the reply unsatisfactory, you may turn to the Digital Ombudsman (Difensore civico per il digitale) at AgID, which examines reports of accessibility failures free of charge.
